Associate of Science Degree in Health Care Administration
A total of 60 units/credits (4 semesters) in the areas of general education,
computer literacy and specialized health care occupation courses are
required to earn the AS Degree in Health Care Administration.
Graduates are prepared to demonstrate efficient management,
problem-solving skills and effective communication in the role of a
health care administrator.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration
A total of 120 units/credits (8 semesters) are required to earn the BS Degree
in Health Care Administration. Completion of the following curriculum is
required: general education, specialized health care occupation, computer
literacy and health administration. Graduates receive a wide range of
knowledge in preparation to manage the resources, procedures and systems
of a health care organization. Additionally, the program provides an in-depth perspective
and understanding of health care management information systems. Students
will learn the role of marketing and public relations in health care and become
acquainted with the basic principles of organizational design and managerial
behavior in health care systems.
