All work and no play makes for a dull nurse.

Student Services helps to create that sense of community that is vital to any institution of higher learning. For instance, four times each year the campus celebrates Student Appreciation Day. We’ll treat you to refreshments, entertainment, and the sight of your staff and faculty dressed up in a student-chosen theme—sometimes adventurous and often hilarious. Students in our nursing programs also participate in the campus activities associated with annual celebration of National Nurses Week—a perfect occasion to honor one of the world’s most trusted professions.

Leadership: It’s never too early to start.

Student Services also provides the opportunity to become involved in a variety of campus associations and community activities, which is a great way to both develop your leadership skills and add community service to your resume. Whether it is the Student Council or the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA), there is an opportunity for you to engage with your fellow students. Your campus NSNA chapter elects officers, sends delegates to the national convention, and serves as a liaison for nursing-related campus activities.
