BSN Scholarship Opportunity for WCU Alumni: WCU offers a scholarship to any WCU alumni who has successfully completed the Associate Degree in Nursing, LVN to RN bridge program and is enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN to BSN bridge program. The deadline to apply is three weeks prior to beginning the program, and the maximum award amount is $2,000 which is applied to the student’s account balance over four semesters ($500 per semester). To meet initial eligibility requirements, applicants must submit a completed application, sign a contract with the Financial Services Department, and agree to the following terms of eligibility requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency
2. Must have completed the ADN program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater at WCU
3. Must demonstrate Professionalism through a letter of recommendation from one of your professors at WCU
4. Must provide a personal statement on your career goals and purpose for pursuing a BSN degree at WCU
   

To maintain eligibility during each semester, a student:

1. Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
2. Must maintain a minimum of 90% attendance (may not have more than one absence in each class)
